About the kindergarten
Our approach

Montessori inspiration, respect and an individual pace

“Help me to do it myself.”

Montessori — we help children towards independence.

Linden Kids is a kindergarten inspired by Montessori education for children aged 2 to 6. We follow the motto “Help me to do it myself” — we prepare a stimulating environment with natural materials and let children discover at their own pace, with respect for who they are.

We work in a mixed-age group, where younger children learn through imitation and older ones consolidate their skills. We emphasise practical life, independence and gentle boundaries.

A world in English, English in the world
English

A world in English, English in the world

At Linden Kids, we let the foreign language flow naturally through the whole day. We use the natural immersion method, weaving English into everyday activities, play, movement and rituals. Children don’t experience the language as a subject, but as another tool for discovering the world.

Our programme is built on daily language moments, English songs, action rhymes and listening to stories. The goal isn’t drilling, but building a positive relationship with the language, healthy confidence in communication, and a natural accent that will open doors for children in the future.

Tracking progress

We track progress quietly but thoroughly

No tests, no stress. Careful documentation helps us prepare children for the next step at school and show parents concrete progress.

Record sheets

Observation record: we regularly track what a child has worked with — ongoing pedagogical diagnostics.

Child’s portfolio

A collection of materials capturing the child’s progress, skills and development. It helps us follow the child and their individual growth, and parents can look through it at any time.

Parent consultations

Every three months we meet with parents individually over the portfolio and discuss the child’s development.

Food

A healthy body, a sharp mind

Our food is prepared by the Brno company Lakšmanna, which has specialised in healthy eating for over 15 years and cooks for selected kindergartens and primary schools in Brno — from quality ingredients sourced from Czech suppliers, including organic grains. At the same time, we take part in the internationally recognised Skutečně zdravá škola programme, within which we meet criteria for quality catering and teach children where their food comes from.

The menu is designed to be easily digestible for children’s bodies — without unnecessary processed foods or harsh flavour enhancers. The modern, light kitchen naturally combines whole grains, legumes, plenty of vegetables and light alternative proteins, while also offering a quality meat option, most often turkey or chicken.

Children develop great eating habits with us and leave the table full of energy for their next discoveries, without feeling weighed down.

We take hydration as seriously as food. Children drink water and unsweetened organic herbal and fruit teas from Sonnentor, a family company specialising in organic products with no artificial flavourings or added sugar.

We follow the Skutečně zdravá škola (Really Healthy School) programme

Founder, visionary and director of Linden Kids Křenová

I am the founder and driving force behind the Linden Kids children's group on Křenová. I created a modern, family-friendly and convenient environment that makes parents' everyday lives easier and opens the door to top-quality education for children — without unnecessary stress.

I bring the vision of a mixed-age group where children of different ages grow up side by side in harmony, and I set great store by the people around me. Linden Kids is my dream of a new-generation kindergarten come true — where high professionalism meets a warm, family atmosphere.
