You have the certainty of a single fixed amount — no scrambling for loose change for your child’s outings in the morning rush.

A registered children’s group
Linden Kids is a registered children’s group (dětská skupina). We are a proud member of the Association of Children’s Group Providers — we commit to its quality standards and to the continuous training of our team.
A safe bridge between home and kindergarten
Starting in a children’s group is a significant milestone. We see adaptation as a key process of building trust — we use a gradual, science-based approach, sensitively tailored to each child. A standard cycle lasts around three weeks and is divided into three phases.

- 1Week one
First contact and building trust
The first days are for a short, roughly hour-long introduction to the space and the new faces. The key moment is the first brief separation from the parent — it creates space for a relationship to form with the guide.
- 2Week two
Expanding the rituals
Once your child feels secure, we extend their time in the group. We involve them in the first shared rituals — the morning snack, a walk together. Your child goes home before lunch, full of positive impressions.
- 3Week three
Full integration
By the end of the week your child smoothly moves to the full morning programme, including lunch together. We discuss every step with you and reassure you how they are coping — so you too can leave with peace of mind.
How we support the process together
Anchors from home
Their own slippers, a favourite cup, a soft toy or a family photo act as psychological support in moments of longing.
Time comfort
During the adaptation week we ask for flexibility and for pick-ups exactly as agreed. Punctuality builds the child’s certainty that they can rely on your word.
The ritual of a short goodbye
Long goodbyes deepen uncertainty. A firm hug, a clear reassurance that you’ll return and a quick kiss give the child a clear signal that they are safe.

What parents ask
From what age do you accept children?
At Linden Kids we welcome children aged 2 to 6 with love and respect.
Both our environment and our daily programme are carefully adapted to the needs of the youngest two-year-olds, who take their first steps in a group with us, as well as older children and preschoolers, whom we prepare in a playful way for a smooth start to primary school.
How many children are in the group?
Our whole kindergarten has just a single shared class with a maximum capacity of 18 children. Because we have only one group, all the children and guides know each other very well.
Why is this beneficial for the children?
- Natural learning: Older children learn to help the younger ones, the younger ones draw inspiration from the older ones, and together we all form one big gang.
- Individual care: This small group allows us to give each child the utmost care and to nurture their unique potential.
Do the children learn English?
Yes, a foreign language is a natural part of every day here. We do not believe in classic “school” learning of vocabulary and grammar. Instead, we use the method of natural language immersion, which is the most effective for children of this age.
What does this look like in practice at Linden Kids?
- A natural part of the day: English is spoken to the children during ordinary daily situations — at play, at mealtimes or while getting dressed. The children do not see the language as a “subject”, but as a natural means of communication.
- Playful afternoons: During our themed afternoon blocks we focus on English more intensively through songs, rhymes, movement games and English stories.
- Without shyness and with joy: Thanks to this approach the children take in English pronunciation and intonation completely organically and shed any future shyness about speaking.
Our goal is not for children to mechanically list the colours, but for them to build a positive relationship with the foreign language, understand it and start to think in it naturally.
What about meals and allergies?
Quality, balanced food is key to a child’s healthy development. At Linden Kids we therefore work with the renowned catering company Lakšmanna, which specialises in healthy, nutritious and fresh meals for kindergartens and children’s groups.
We are fully prepared to accommodate even the most demanding dietary requirements:
- Allergies and intolerances: Whether your child needs a gluten-free diet, lactose-free food (or food without cow’s milk protein), or has combined food allergies, we can safely arrange it all. These meals are prepared under strict conditions and delivered to the kindergarten in separate, clearly labelled containers for the specific child to prevent any contamination.
- Vegetarians and vegans: Plant-based, lighter food is a natural standard for our supplier. Children who do not eat meat or animal products receive a full, varied and nutritionally balanced menu.
- Freshness and drinking regime: Food is prepared daily from fresh ingredients, without unnecessary chemicals and preservatives. Throughout the day we also keep an eye on the children’s healthy drinking regime (water, unsweetened teas).
We always arrange your child’s specific dietary needs together, individually, when they start at the kindergarten, so you have complete certainty that their little tummy is wonderfully cared for.
We also take part in the Skutečně zdravá škola programme — you can view our profile here.
How will I know how my child is developing?
For every child we keep detailed observation records and a personal portfolio that maps their progress and their work across the year. We meet with you over these materials regularly, at individual consultations every three months. You can read more on the About the kindergarten page.
But we are in it with you every day. If you feel the need, you can arrange a personal meeting outside the usual schedule at any time, in advance. Together we will go through whatever is currently worrying or occupying you and your child at home, and we will help you find a shared path.
Consultations with us are a safe space for open partnership and support for your family.
Can we come and visit the kindergarten?
Yes, we will gladly show you and your child around our space. We make a point of ensuring that choosing a kindergarten is a fully informed and right step for you.
However, we always organise visits by prior arrangement and outside the main morning block. There are two important reasons for this:
- We protect the children’s calm: During the morning our little ones concentrate deeply on their work. We do not want to disturb their safe space with unannounced visits.
- We will be here just for you: We want to be sure we can devote ourselves to you and your questions 100 % and in complete calm during the visit.
Write or call us via our contact page and together we will find a time that suits you. We look forward to meeting you!
What about parking and getting to you?
You will find Linden Kids at Křenová 69a, which brings excellent city accessibility but also the specifics of Brno parking. We have done everything to make your morning and afternoon logistics as comfortable as possible:
- Public transport: We are wonderfully accessible. The Masná tram and bus stop is just a few dozen metres from our entrance. From the main railway station you are with us in literally 3 minutes.
- By car (drop-off): We understand that morning time is precious. For a quick drop-off and pick-up we recommend using the two spaces right in front of the kindergarten, where you can safely park, hand your little one over to us and carry straight on with your day.
- Balance bikes, bikes and prams: If you are coming on foot or by public transport, you do not have to worry about what to do with your child’s “vehicle”. Right by the building entrance we have a safe space where you can comfortably lock your balance bike, bike or pram and leave it with us all day.
Our tip: on your first visit we will gladly show you in person the best route, the proven spots for parking the car and the space for storing balance bikes.
